AF Blakemore & Son Limited add to their fuel station portfolio

ADM Surveyors were instructed by AF Blakemore & Son Limited to provide a full design service for the redevelopment of their industrial site in Talbot Green, Mid Glamorgan.

Three design options were provided for the site, the selected design provides a 'state of the art' fuel service station with ancillary retail and restaurant facilities including two dedicated ‘drive-thru’ lanes. The site also benefits from high voltage EV charging, vehicle car wash and external seating area.

The new SPAR convenience store will consist of large glazed curtain wall shop front and a central lobby with level access, providing an open plan retail and shared seating area for customers to enjoy the different refreshment options together.

As part of planning requirements, and the submission to the local authority, ADM obtained an ecology report, transport assessment, acoustic report, aboricultural survey along with flood consequences assessment.

The scheme will significantly enhance the use and appearance of the redundant site and improve its overall visual quality. The scheme will also provide new employment opportunities within the local area.
