ADM Surveyors Achieves CIAT Registration Following Tom Riozzi's Accreditation
3rd December 2020ADM is celebrating after Tom completed his MCIAT and the Practice became registered members of the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists.

After joining ADM in September 2019, Tom who has a BSc (Hons) in Architectural Technology from Nottingham Trent University, was given the opportunity to further his qualifications to become the first CIAT member of the business.
CIAT’s qualification process requires members to develop a portfolio of work that demonstrates their experience within all areas of Architectural Technology and to undertake a rigorous interview that assesses competence and depth of knowledge.
With ADM’s support, Tom was able to complete his submission which demonstrated his experience relating to the four core areas identified by CIAT. These included designing, managing, practicing and self development.
Tom commented on his achievement, saying: “I’m really pleased to have gained my MCIAT accreditation, not just for myself but also for ADM, who will now be recognised as a CIAT registered practice".
“Steve and the team have been extremely supportive by giving me the opportunity to work on projects that demonstrated my skillset, plugged any gaps in my knowledge and strengthened the personal portfolio that I’ve been compiling since my graduation".
“I’ve gained a vast amount of experience and knowledge over the past twelve months and the ADM team has encouraged me all the way – I’m very grateful”.
Steve Masic, Director, ADM said: “We’re delighted that Tom has achieved his MCIAT accreditation, both for him personally and of course, for the recognition it brings to the practice".
“It is important to us that our employees personally progress and through our commitment to CPD, we will support them in whatever way we can".
“Tom worked on some challenging projects in order to bolster his portfolio and achieve his MCIAT and as a result he has developed a fabulous knowledge base that will allow him to manage all areas of his own projects with confidence – we’re extremely proud of him”.
As a MCIAT, Chartered Architectural Technologists are qualified to offer design services and manage projects from inception to completion. They lead the technological design of a project – forming the link between concept, innovation and realisation.
