ADM Surveyors Supporting Major Residential Extension and Refurbishment Project

ADM Surveyors were appointed in late 2024 to provide architectural and surveying services for an extensive residential extension and refurbishment project. Working closely with the client throughout the early design stages, our Architectural team developed several design iterations to refine the proposals and ensure they fully reflected the client's aspirations while meeting planning requirements.

As part of the initial project development, our Quantity Surveying team prepared detailed budget estimates to establish cost certainty before progressing the design. Once the preferred scheme had been agreed, a comprehensive planning application was prepared and submitted for a substantial programme of extensions, alterations and associated internal and external works.

During the planning process, the project presented several environmental challenges, including ecological constraints that required specialist surveys and licensing. Working alongside the relevant consultants, ADM Surveyors successfully coordinated these requirements, allowing the planning process to progress smoothly before securing planning approval.

Following planning approval, our team prepared the full Building Regulations package, which was subsequently approved by the Local Authority. We then compiled a detailed tender package, enabling the client to appoint a suitable contractor before works commenced on site in April 2026.

Construction is now progressing well, with ADM Surveyors continuing to provide Project Management, Contract Administration and Quantity Surveying services throughout the build. Through regular site inspections, monthly valuations and progress meetings, we are helping to ensure the project remains on programme, within budget and is delivered to the highest standard.
