ADM were instructed by Shelton Limited to carry out architectural services for the proposed internal alterations and ground floor extension to an existing retail unit to create a Spar Convenience Store at The Crescent, Devitt Way, Broughton Astley, Leicestershire.
Planning permission was obtained by ADM for this retail scheme which included the ground floor convenience store extension from the constrained 75 sq.m to 369 sq.m, along with internal alterations and a new shop front to the existing convenience store.
In addition to the new enlarged store, four new retail units were created together with alterations to the car parking arrangements and landscaping. The convenience store opening took place on Friday 8th October 2021 following successful completion of the project.
Blakemore Property Limited commissioned ADM for Employers Agent services. Our services included the monitoring of construction works on site, communicating instructions between the developer and tenant. Coordinating the hand over and liaising with the local authority's planning department to discharge the tenant's planning conditions including signage, noise abatement and odour discharge from the unit.
